Welcome

The Cultural Association (Associazione Culturale) named Circolo della Zampogna (Bagpipes Club) is a non-profit Italian cultural organization that is central to the preservation and revival of:
-    all Italian bagpipes, specially from Southern Italy (zampogna) and related instruments (ciaramelle or pifferi)
-    the pipe-makers in Italy and in South Italy (zampogna-makers)
-    the fabulous music of this part of the Europe and of the world.

The most visible productions of our Association are:
-    a very fine print magazine, Utriculus,
-    books, DVD, CD, MC, Magazines (see in “production section”)
-    a large annual Bagpipes Festival (Festival Internazionale della Zampogna) at the end of July in Scapoli, which is in the Molise region in Italy.

The festival features not only Italian pipers but performers and lecturers from around the world; some foreigner musicians who performed here since 1991 are:
